Gretna Hall Hotel, Gretna Green, DG16 5DY

This project involved a full Mechanical and Electrical (M+E) installation undertaken by DRW at Gretna Hall Hotel, Gretna Green. The works covered 14 bedrooms and adjoining corridors, providing modern, efficient, and fully compliant systems throughout the property.

Scope of Works

Lighting Installation
New, energy-efficient lighting was installed throughout the bedrooms and corridors. The upgraded lighting enhances both functionality and aesthetics, providing a modern and welcoming atmosphere for guests.

Emergency Lighting
A new emergency lighting system was installed throughout all corridors to ensure safe illumination and clear evacuation routes in the event of a power failure. The system complies fully with current safety standards and regulations.

Upgraded Mirror Lights
New and upgraded mirror lights were fitted in all bedrooms and en-suites, offering improved illumination and energy efficiency while enhancing the overall appearance of the rooms.

Full Rewire
A complete electrical rewire was carried out across all 14 bedrooms and associated areas. All wiring and connections were installed in accordance with current electrical regulations, ensuring long-term safety and reliability.

Consumer Unit Upgrade
The existing consumer unit was upgraded to meet the latest standards and to provide improved circuit protection, supporting the increased electrical demand of the newly refurbished rooms.

Decorative Faceplates
New decorative faceplates were fitted throughout, complementing the refreshed interior design and contributing to the overall modern aesthetic of the hotel rooms and corridors.

Air Conditioning Installation
A brand-new air conditioning system was installed throughout all 14 bedrooms, ensuring guest comfort and energy-efficient climate control. Each unit was commissioned and tested for optimal performance.
