DRW carried out the full Mechanical and Electrical (M+E) package for a self-build residential project located in Thurstonfield, Cumbria. The installation was designed to deliver a highly efficient, sustainable, and modern electrical and mechanical system, tailored to meet the client’s bespoke design and performance requirements.
Scope of Works
Heat Recovery Unit
A full Mechanical Ventilation with Heat Recovery (MVHR) system was installed to provide continuous fresh air throughout the home while recovering heat from extracted air, improving energy efficiency and indoor air quality.
Air Source Heat Pump (ASHP)
A high-performance Air Source Heat Pump system was installed to provide renewable and efficient heating and hot water, reducing energy consumption and carbon footprint.
Solar Panel Installation
A full solar PV system was installed to generate clean, renewable electricity for the property. The installation contributes significantly to the home’s sustainability and energy self-sufficiency.
Lighting Installation
New energy-efficient LED spotlights were installed throughout the property, providing modern and effective lighting. Decorative lighting fixtures were also installed to complement the interior design and enhance the visual appeal of key spaces.
Decorative Faceplates
Premium decorative faceplates were fitted throughout the property, adding a modern and refined finish to all switches and sockets.
EV Chargers
New electric vehicle charging points were installed to support sustainable transport and provide convenient home charging solutions for electric vehicles.
