DRW Electrical Group has completed the design, supply, and installation of a 90 kW commercial Solar PV system for RH Irving at the Spar filling station. The system utilises SolarEdge DC power optimisation to provide module-level monitoring, enhanced shade mitigation, and improved energy harvest across the full array.
The installation comprises high-efficiency monocrystalline PV modules paired with SolarEdge optimisers, feeding into SolarEdge three-phase inverters for maximum system stability and grid compliance. All equipment was installed to current BS 7671 wiring regulations and G99 grid-connection standards, including surge protection, AC/DC isolation, and comprehensive cable management.
Real-time performance analytics and remote diagnostics were enabled through the SolarEdge monitoring platform, providing RH Irving with detailed operational visibility and long-term asset management capability. The completed system delivers a resilient and high-output renewable energy solution designed to support the site’s continuous commercial load profile while reducing carbon emissions and operational costs.
