Smiths Hotel, Gretna Green – First Floor Bedroom Refurbishment
DRW Electrical Group carried out the electrical works associated with the first-floor bedroom refurbishment at Smiths Hotel, Gretna Green, covering 24 bedrooms and bathrooms across a range of different room configurations.
Our works included the alteration and installation of electrical services throughout the bedrooms and bathrooms, including lighting, power, electrical accessories and feature LED strip lighting around the media walls. Knightsbridge Antique Brass accessories were used to complement the interior finishes and maintain consistency with the previous phase of the hotel refurbishment.
The electrical installation was carefully coordinated around the different bedroom layouts, including standard, family and accessible accommodation, with electrical provisions integrated around new media walls, TVs, desks, bedside furniture and other bedroom features shown within the refurbishment design.
On completion, the installation was tested and certified by DRW, with works undertaken in accordance with the current requirements of BS 7671 and relevant Building Standards and industry regulations.
The project demonstrates DRW’s experience in delivering high-quality electrical installations within hotel and hospitality environments, combining technical compliance with careful attention to the finished appearance of each room.
