Electrical Works – Primary School Remodelling
DRW Electrical Group carried out the electrical installation works associated with the remodelling and refurbishment of the existing primary school, supporting the creation of five individual classrooms, a new library, nursery office, learning areas and upgraded toilet facilities.
Our works included the alteration and installation of electrical services to suit the new layouts, including new LED lighting and emergency lighting, power supplies, containment, wiring accessories and associated electrical infrastructure. Existing services were adapted where required to accommodate the new partitions, ceilings and room configurations.
DRW also carried out the testing, inspection and commissioning of the electrical installations, ensuring the completed works were compliant and ready for handover.
All electrical works were undertaken within a live school environment, requiring careful programming and close coordination with the main contractor and other trades. This allowed DRW to complete the works safely and efficiently while minimising disruption to pupils and staff.
